I am thinking either to have a dinner at Chefs de France or a lunch at Le Cellier. Which one is better in terms of food quality?

Thanks!

Having eaten lunch at both, I personally like Chef's better. To me Chef's at lunch seems to have a more more relaxing atmosphere, the service has always been excellent, and the food is always good.

I ate a dinner at Chefs and a lunch at Le Cellier on my last trip, and my fiance and I both enjoyed Le Cellier significantly more. We both thought our Chefs entrees (duck and seafood in lobster broth) were very meh. Le Cellier, on the other hand, was our favorite meal of the trip ('Ohana was a close second). I had the filet and my fiance had the strip.

Les Chefs used to be one of our favorites (around 2005). However, I think it's become much more mediocre over the years, largely due to the dining plan (and the addition of Remy, which has brought in more families who are less interested in traditional French food).

I'd go with Le Cellier - I think the filet with truffle butter is one of the best entrees at a Disney 1-credit restaurant.

We've been to Le Chefs twice. In 2007 it was one of the best meals we've had at WDW. Food was great but it was the awesome service we had that made the difference. Our server was quick and pleasant to talk to about her home country etc. Just a great time. So we went again in 2010 and that was a mistake. The food was decent but not as good as before. The service was horrible!! Waited a long time for menus, waited forever to get our order taken, never got drink refills, waited quite awhile for our bill, waited some more for our change etc. Not fun at all. We may try it again next trip as it may have just been a bad day there.

Le Celliar has been one of the most consistant restaurants we've dined at. Steaks are very good, cheese soup is excellent. Service has always been perfect.

I have not tried Le Cellier since the menu change but before it was really good and i would have to go with it. Chefs is also good but it is not as consistent with the food. I have been to each a good amount of times and Chefs can sometimes be less than amazing. By no means is it bad or inedible but just not up to the AMAZING Disney standards. Either is a good choice and should be an enjoyable meal. :)

It looks like more people like Le Cellier. Will get an ADR. Thanks!
