Chefs de France - Huge Disappointment

We did the CP package there on 12/25 and it was great. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I had the Fruits de Mer and enjoyed the dish. DH had short ribs and my oldest had the duck. Everyone was happy.

I really get frustrated when I hear Americans complaining about the rude French. Though there are rude people everywhere, the French are not any more or less rude than Americans. They are, however, more reserved and less likely to smile or show much reaction in public or to strangers. I lived in France for six months and really had to get used to those differences. I've found the CMs at Chefs to be pretty typical French servers in that regard.

Also the CP is $61.99 there. The online menus I've seen are a bit low. My entree was $32 or so, and I had the chevre salad which was over $10. Them dessert and the drink brings that price pretty close to the $61.99.

Also Remy is great!

We eat at Chefs occasionally and find the food mediocre as well(Bistro is awesome tho) We have had just 1 bad server in HUNDREDs or Disney TS dining and he was courteous but an abject idiot at BD.

AS far as prices,I own a small business and Disney's prices have risen less in the last 20 years than mine have and theyface the same increased labor, material, insurance, energy, tax and administrative costs.I just had been looking at my history recently and looked for paralells as I always hear a lot of noise from others about the price of this and that butdon't have a 9-5 point of reference and can't relate. If things cost too much I don't do them or work more.If they are relatively inexpensive for the same product they get more of my business.

We ate at Chefs for the 1st time in August & it was our WORST meal of our trip. The food was awful & our server was just as bad! We will not be going back in the future....

I have no problem paying extra to have a ticket to see the show but the quality of the food was no where near the cost (and the food wasn't very good).

I did share my concerns were conceriege at the hotel (it was lovely - you get spoiled staying at the conceriege level). They took care of all of our needs (including making the reservation). It was a live and learn moment.

Can't wait to try a new place next year.
