I have a PS for Monday 9-20 at 7:10 for dinner. Does anyone know if you can see any fireworks from the resort. Thanks so much

Yes, you can see Wishes from Contemporary on the 3rd fl.

We just love Chef Mickeys and watching the fireworks from the Contemporary--it is fast becoming our arrival night tradition

Is there a specific area we have to
sit/stand in on the 3rd floor?
Isn't "everybody" going to be there, also?

Any tips about that are appreciated

Its actually on the 4th floor, opposite end of the building (Chef Mickeys is on the transportation center side). Just past the shops on either side there are 2 doors that lead out on to a balcony. You wont be able to see all of the show as the trees block the lower stuff and the images projected on the castle, but its still worthwhile. Dont forget you can also catch the water parade later on out on the beach (near the wing rooms). It comes pretty late though as it is the last stop (back in Feb it was a little after 10pm).

I stayed at the Contemporary in 1998 and we saw the fireworks from our room once (North Wing parking lot view) and then we saw them from the parking lot once (ANd yes the had the music there too) and my favorite plce was the second roof top. There are two of them one was with the restaurant and you had to eat there to watch from there but there is a second roof and we watched from there. I heard they no longer allow this? I would at least check it out because we was on the roof closest to the water and we could see the fireworks and they also piped in the music for that and then we turned around and there was the electrical water parade and we could hear that music too.
