Couldn't get Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We arrive next week. Do you think there is any possible chance for us to get a reservation? Do they take walk in's? Thanks.

John

You may still have a chance...once you arrive at WDW, call every morning to see if anything is available. People always change their plans once they arrive and cancel priority seatings. It's worked for us a couple of times.

Good luck!

It is not likely that they will take walk-ins as this has become such a popular character breakfast. I would give it a try though. You could also try calling every day until your trip. There are some alternatives if you can't get into Chef Mickey's. If seeing Mickey is a must, you could try 'Ohana's at the Poly, Garden Grill at Epcot or Donald's Breakfastosaurus at AK. My personal favorite is Cape May Cafe at the BC (no Mickey here). Other character meals we enjoy are Crystal Palace in MK (Pooh & Friends) and 1900 Park Fair at the GF (has a variety of characters).

Good luck!

(Just noticed I am now a DIS Veteran!) WOO HOO!

We went for a quick, last minute trip last March & couldn't get a PS for Chef Mickey's before we left home. Once at WDW, we called from the hotel & were able to get a PS for the next morning at 7 am with no problems. Maybe try for one once you arrive, or try showing up at opening & request a table. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the replies. I guess all is not lost. I sense a small glimmer of hope. Nothing today, but we will keep trying. The CM's said it's going to be tough because it is so crowded. They even said to keep trying back. Thanks.

I hope so... U just need to keep calling. WDW people are so nice on the phones. CALL CALL CALL! and when you check in (if ur at a WDW hotel) talk to the person at the desk. but call. I hope you get it! good luck!::MickeyMo

Chef Mickey's was such a priority for us last trip and it turned out to be a big disappointment for us!:(

Lousy seat location (even after asking nicely to be moved), food was fair, character interaction was good.

Just seemed very over-rated to us. We liked other character meals we had done much more at Cape May, Crystal Palace and Garden Grill.

But I hope you get in if you really want it. Just insist on sitting up front, not anywhere in back!

I have to agree. Chef Mickey's is nice to do once just to see what all they hype is about and to be abe to say you had the experience, but there are far better character meals out there. DH and I went last May and would not do it again. I feel it is way to crowded and the food is just ok. I would much rather go to Cape May Cafe. It is more laid back, better food and great character interaction!
