We are flying in November 16 and we would like to eat dinner here for our first evening at WDW. Our reservation is at 7:30pm and that is too late for our kids especially with the time difference. What are the chances that we will be able to move this earlier? I have been checking online but there are no other times available. Any tips? Do you think I will be able to change after we check in?

Personally I would just be checking everyday online.. Good luck!!

I recently was able to move an ADR from 7:30 to 6:30 at Tappan edo by doing so..

I have been checking daily for something at CM to open up for our trip (we will be there 11/17-11/21). I have yet to find anything at all. Good luck! Many here have posted good results when checking every day. Maybe when it gets closer to your arrival date, more times will open up. That is what I am hoping anyhow!

I would think your best bet would to to call the dining reservation line or try to do it online BEFORE you leave...In order to get Chef Mickey reservations at the time I needed, I had to call every day for 3 weeks---Im sure they loved that!! LOL!

Thanks, I will just keep checking online several times a day. My reservations are actually at 7:55pm that day and that will be much too late for my kiddos, it will feel like 8:55pm for them which is past their bedtime! I'm hoping to get an earlier time then head to Epcot for the fireworks to get that out of the way. We will sleep in that next morning to stay late at MK on Wednesday. Now if I can just get an earlier ressie!

I'm curious as to where you are from that is one hour AHEAD of Orlando? Nova Scotia by chance? I ask as I have family in the area, it is so beautiful!!!

I'd say just keep checking online and hope something opens up. I ended up canceling our arrival night meal as I was afraid the day was too unpredictable with flights, over-excited kids, etc. But I totally understand wanting Chef Mickey's!

If your reservation time is at 7:30 pm., you may not be seated until after 7:30 pm if it is really busy. That happened to us. We had a 8:10 p.m. time, checked in at 7:45 pm and unhappily waited until past 8:30 p.m. There were ALOT of people that were delayed around us as the restaurant was running behind schedule. The people waiting next to us had an even earlier time slot and were seated after us.

I didn't have a great experience at Chef Mickey's (the characters were stingy with their time) and was glad it was not our first dinner. Just my 2 cents. We had a lovely time at Crystal Palace and Akershus. Character interactions there were great and the servers were very sweet.

Definitely check everyday. I was hoarding the dining boards for a Chef Mickey's breakfast and I finally got successful yesterday :cool1: (we leave tomorrow morning). So if I were you, keep checking online dining or call the dining line...something will bound to open up. Here is some pixiedust: for you too.
