So is it worth it to spend $23 for three 11 year olds for Chef Mickeys? We would like to meet the characters, but I am pretty sure we can see them at the parks. What are your thoughts?

I thought Chef Mickeys was way over rated. There are plenty of other chances to see the characters without going to Chef Mickeys.

I agree with PP. We had breakfast there on Friday. The food was decent, but for 11 year olds I would skip it. Even though we had fairly short lines to see them, we got more time and better interaction with each of those characters in the parks than what we did at the breakfast.

I agree. 11 year olds will probably enjoy the autograph hunting in the parks more than the sit down meal! Mickey and the gang are all over the parks and personally, I would choose a different TS meal for older kids (something in World Showcase perhaps).

My kids are now 13 and 10 and still love going here. The food is actually pretty decent.

But then, we have used the dining plan the past two times, so we never worried about the price.

If your only reason is to meet the characters, probably not worth it.

Maybe depends on how much of a budget splurge it would be for you. If it would be your only TableService, it might be nice to have a change from counterservice and enjoy the variety of choices from the buffet & all-you can-eat aspect. Maybe think about how much your 11 year olds eat?

We do the dining plan & Chef Mickey is always on our list.

We love Chef Mickey’s! We schedule a breakfast and dinner there every trip, and throughout the years, of all the restaurants in WDW, CM is the one that has never disappointed us! However, if you are not really looking for ressies and just seeking characters, you will find a plethora of character meet 'n greets in all of the parks! :thumbsup2

We LOVE Chef Mickeys! It is a must do every trip for us!! As far as the food, I think most of the food in all of Disney is about the same. Not great and not bad either. There are, of course, a few exceptions! We pick by theme and to us this is "Classic Disney"!

Are the characters the Fab 5?
I read everything and have always seen that it is Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald (CHIP).
My brother- who does no research - said it isn't that group anymore.

Has anyone been there recently for Breakfast and can tell me who the characters are.

Thanks!
