Chef Mickeys

We would like to do Chef Mickey's for dinner maybe on our first night and I wanted to know what is the best way to get there? Can we go directly from the MK? We are staying at POR so we are trying to figure this all out.

You can take the monorail from MK to the Contemporary; then for your return to Port Orleans, you will have to take the monorail back to the MK & then hop on a bus back to your resort.

We are going to do Chef Mickey's as well.... but we want to do breakfast. I was just thinking that we will park at MK and then take the monorail over there and then take it back to MK when we are done.

yes the CR is the first stop on the monorail from MK or you can walk.

Ok, well we're doing breakfast at CM coming from CSR. No car. So tell me if this is correct....we would have to take bus to MK, then monorail to CR? Am I correct to assume that buses don't go from resort to resort?

Hammie you are correct... no buses from resort to resort. You will have to go to MK and then CR. From MK you can walk or take monorail. I will be there in May and am planning on Chef Mickey dinner I just love that place. I can't wait....

Doing breakfast at CM and then morning park at Studios. So - is it possible to just park at the contemporary for breakfast? If so - is there a fee?

You can park - no fee. Just tell the attendant at the TTC gate that you are going to the Contemporary. The attendee at the Contemporary may or may not confirm that you actually do have an ADR. You can then park there for I think 3 hours.

if your in the magic kindom take the boat to epcot and then take a bus ito this one hotel in it but its not near any rides like the beach club is!!!and in the hotel is chef mickys!!! and thats how you get to chef mickeys!!!

Huh???? I think you may be confused

There is no boat from MK to Epcot

Beach Club near rides?????

Chef Mickey is in the Contemporary

We had breakfast ADRs and found it very easy and a lot shorter to just walk from the MK bus stop back to the Contemporary. By the time you walk to the monorail, take the escalator up, wait for the monorail then ride to the hotel. You'd could be there or just about there. It's also a pleasant walk with some hidden Mickeys and beautiful landscaping along the way.

If you are already in the park and heading back for dinner I could see taking the monorail as you've probably walked enough already.

Ummmmm, not sure what you're thinking of.

You can't wrong by taking the Resort Monorail or walking to the Contemporary. Taking the Monorail might be a bit easier because once you exit it at the Contemporary your already on the 4th floor and have a very short 10 second walk to Chef Mickey's. I would only suggest walking to the Contemporary if you would have just missed the Monorail because it could be at least a 5 minute wait or more until the next one arrives, so in that time you could have started walking.
