:goodvibes Hi folks...Need advice

We want to have a character breakfast for DD who turns 3 over there on her actual birthday we are looking at Chef mickeys.
Is it best to pre-book? and if so does anyone know how? also is it good?:goodvibes

Yep pre-book you can make your ADRs from 180 before your return date home, it's a very popular choice and every time we go it gets busy at breakfast time. When you get there you give your ADR number to the CM at the podium and have photos taken with Chef Mickey before you are shown to your table. As it's a buffet the staff will bring your drinks over and once they have settled you they will give you the nod to help yourselves to the food. there's everything from fresh fruit and yogurts, cereals, toasts full hot breakfasts, freshly made waffles , breakfast pizza etc and you can go back for more if you have room. The characters will circulate the dining room and you will be shown the photos before you decide whether you want to purchase them or not, (we have not had a bad one):thumbsup2
We go whenever we can and the food is fantastic and the service is at a relaxed pace so you don't get rushed in or out and the kids really enjoy it. They get everyone singing the birthday song "Celebrate with Mickey Mouse" to anyone who has a birthday there so make sure to get your DD a birthday button at one of the parks or in a Disney hotel they are available at front desk..tell them when you check in.

Ds celebrated his birthday here last year he enjoyed it so much we are doing it again this trip.:goodvibes

My nephew loved Chef Mickeys for many years, it's relaxed and really great fun for children. The food is good and the character interaction is very good. You'll love it.

Beth we went last year and it was great!! you all will love it!:thumbsup2
it is best to pre book as it does get busy!

Yes, it is great:thumbsup2 , but do make sure you pre book as on our last trip we didnt and couldnt get a reservation:sad2:

We too are thinking about this breakfast. Usually we do the Donald breakfastsaurus at AK. How does it compare? Also is the breakfast at the Grand Floridian worth considering?

Thx

Geraldine

Definitely book an ADR. We called about 3 weeks ago for a dinner reservation for our next trip and there was only one day they had availability out of a week.

Great to read all the good reviews as we've never eaten at Chef Mickeys but I made an ADR for DD 12th Birthday for 25th March - she's so excited!!
