We went there for dinner in NOV. The food was OK! (I loved the mini desserts). The character interaction was WONDERFUL! We will make this a must do on the first night of every trip!
Is it really fair to compare the 2? It really depends on which meal you enjoy more. Breakfast, or dinner. My DD14 and I wont even discuss anything that tastes at all of egg (french toast, omlets, fritata, breakfast lasagne etc...), so we are better off at dinner...
We were there for dinner several years ago. I was pleasantly surprised! I was expecting glorified 'Kid Food' but there was saurebrauten, pork tenderloin, etc. Very good! We'll be doing breakfast on our last day there of our upcoming trip.
We have enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at Chef Mickey's and loved every minute of our visits there! However, we lucked out on one of our visits and went for breakfast very late (12 noon ADR) and were able to also enjoy some early lunch/dinner selections (ie: prime rib, etc.) in the same seating! They were switching over as we were eating and no one asked us to leave, so we stayed and ate more!!
We were looking forward to dinner at Chef Mickey's, but did not enjoy it. The food was sub standard, the service inattentive, etc. We much prefer LTT, CP, CRT, etc.
We've done both breakfast and dinner, but we prefer breakfast. We have found the character interaction to be good at both meals, so the determining factor to us was the food. We didn't really enjoy the meal at dinner and we found the food at breakfast to be a bit better.
