Chef Mickey's

I wasn't too impressed last trip, we were there in April 2005. It was our second time eating at Chef Mickey's and the place was filthy! I was really impressed the first time I ate there, that is why we went back. This time the table wasn't even clean, the buffet was all slopped up, just not good in general. I couldn't wait to get out of there! I am really hoping this is the exception and not the rule because I would like to go back there again sometime, just not this next trip. Any other experiences similar to mine?

We have always had a great experience at Chef Mickeys. We go every year...so maybe you just were there on a bad night. I hope you enjoy it next time!!! It's a first night tradition with us!!

Oh I hope it is good. We are kicking off our trip at Chef Mickey's! I have never been before. I thought my kids would enjoy it.

We were there for dinner in Oct. and it was great I would give it another try. Maybe you were there on an off night.

We did Chef Mickey's last Oct. for the first time and loved it. The food was better than we'd expected, and the character interaction was a blast, and we are two adults with no kids. It was very clean in my opinion, and that's saying something considering it's a buffet with ton's of kid's amping on sensory overload. We're doing it first night this year to kick off the trip.

What time of night did you go? We tend to go there near opening and everything is very clean at that point but I can see how it could get messy as the evening goes on....

We had dinner on Friday night and it was wonderful! Very busy, but a great, fun atmosphere. I am not a buffet fan because of cleanliness and I have to say that it was very clean.

We were also there April 2005 during the last week of the month. It was our arrival meal at 6:15. I wanted something special for our DS who was 4 at the time. We enjoyed it very much. Also it gave my DH and I a full meal after driving that day. Next time I want to try another buffet to keep things different.

We've eaten there twice. no complaints from us. pretty good food and real good character interaction. We are booking it again for our next trip.

We go every year, it is a requirement for DH and we have had nothing but great expirences and the place has always been clean. Give it another try.
