Chef Mickey's without PS?

I made a PS for Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but got a super early time: 7:15 AM!

My question is, do I really need it(the PS, I mean)? Or would we still get seating maybe an hour or so later, by just walking in?

I also made a PS for the same morning at Cape May Cafe (waiting for dh input on the time, which will probably determine what we do) so we can go there as well.

This will be our last meal at WDW on this trip and I wanted to see the characters one last time before heading out.

TIA!

I think it's doubtful to just walk in and get seated. We ate there on Sunday night -- had a 6pm PS and were not seated until 6:30pm. Every table was full.

We walked in for breakfast with no PS at Chef Mickey's and got seated right away. There are 5 total in our family and we showed up around 9:00 - 9:30 range...on a Saturday. We also found on our trip that if you do not have PS, show up when the restaurant opens and you'll be seated right away. It worked for us!! Good luck!!

Just out of interest Tinks what time of year was this?

Ok, your post is not very helpful at all...but anyway...

We ended up eating at Cape May Cafe's character breakfast and we really enjoyed it. Goofy, Chip, Dale, & Minnie were all there (Minnie at the front, while the others made their rounds).

I had tried for Chef Mickey's the day before, but they still just had early mornings for our party...but it worked out b/c when we passed through the Contemporary while on the monorail, I pointed it out to dh and he didn't seem to impressed with it anyway. We may or may not eventually try it on a future trip (with PS in advance of course), but I think Cape May will become a tradition for our last morning before departure.

We walked in for dinne May 24th this year...the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and walked in for breakfast Saturday May 31st.

I would recommend that you try Chef Mickey's when you can. I truly did not have a high interest in going there and my kids LOVED it. They wanted to eat every meal here...like that would ever happen!!!
