I made a lunch ADR at CM for my DH and 3 kids. IT was really the only way for me to be able to do afternon tea at the GF. I don't think I would like to do a buffet with my 3 kids alone but my DH handles these things better than me! We have an 8, 4 and 2 yo. I know the 8 yo could help out but I'm starting to feel bad. So tell me Im not a mean wife for doing this!

My kids are almost the same ages - 8,5,2. I think my DH could handle it. He has taken them to sit downs whenever I am not home. I think it would depend on if your two year old would run off or not. My first two would not have, but I am learning the meaning of terrible twos with my third! :scared1:

If your DH is agreeable, I say go for it. The other option is to do a character meal that is more family style where they bring you the food.

Have fun and enjoy yourself!

Depends how your DH is juggling 3 kids at a buffet....

I have 2 girls and DH is accustomed to making his plate and sitting down to eat while I make up my girls' plates and then mine at a buffet (while they sit with him)....

I honestly don't know how he'd be if I made him do it solo.... I know he'd be a bit annoyed by it... but that's just him. :rotfl:

Good luck!!!!:goodvibes

Maybe you can put in a request to be seated within sight of the buffet. Then DH can get up to refill plates without having to have the kids with him each time.
