Which do you prefer, and why?

Is Minnie always at CM's for breakfast and dinner?

Chef Mickey's by far!! It's inside the Contemporary resort and the monorail passes over you while you eat. And after dinner or before hand even, you can take the monrail for a ride all the way around for a wonderful view of the area. The food is wonderful and buffet (all-you-can-eat is always my favorite!) There are lots of characters that come around, Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, Donald, Chip & Dale and they are dressed like chefs. Lots of picture opportunities. You get a family pic in front of a giant dish and someone comes around with a package that you can purchase. We did because the picture was great! Anyway..... I like Chef Mickey's the best for character dinning.
And if I may make another suggestion.... Ohana at the Polynesian Resort is fantastic. That is my husbands favorite. No characters but a wonderful all-you-can-eat experience. Same price as Chef Mikey or Liberty Tavern and excellent food. Exotic polynesian cuisine.
My famil only live 30 min from Disney World so we visit often and mostly for dinners. Hope I have helped!

It depends on what you are looking for. If you consider just the quality of the food, I think LTT is better. CM is a buffet, and a buffet is a buffet, even at Disney. At LTT the food seems to come out hot and fresh. Any food after sitting in a buffet line for an hour or two looses some of it's appeal.

However, if you are going for the characters and overall atmosphere, then CM is the place to go--CM is basic Disney magic at it's best.

I would say LTT is better. Chef mickeys was way TOO loud. I think the food at LTT was better also.

chef mickeys is far better then liberty tree tavern for the characters and atmosphere but liberty tree tavern win with the food im afraid to say but chef mickeys is more fun ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

Hmmm, I guess I'll have to do both. ;)
Next question:
Breakfast or dinner at CM's?

/
We've done both and CM twice for breakfast. Chef Mickey's is the best character meal we've done. The most convenient and fun, the foods good too, and we love breakfast.
Liberty is a treat, we actually did it by accident. We walked in on our first day ever at WDW and asked for table, and our luck took about 4minutes. That's special. When you get something you didn't expect.

If I had to choose, it would be CM. The reasons?, Mickey, Minnie ...

I love both..but I would have to vote for Chef Mickey's . It's become one of our traditions.

Well, I called and nothing that will work for us is available at CM's. I thought this might be the case since we are only a week away from our trip. I have an LTT PS on one of our MK days, so I'll keep that and I might try back once we get to WDW and see if any CM times open up. If not, we'll just have to plan it next time.

We like CM better for breakfast. The quality of food at dinner was just so-so. We have always enjoyed our breakfasts there. princess: pirate: :earboy2:
