We'll be staying at the Contemporary. We're used to staying at hotels with free breakfast, where we head downstairs for breakfast, freshen up in the room, then hit the road. Since I understand the Wave has a buffet now, we're trying to decide between Chef Mickey's for breakfast and The Wave's breakfast buffet.
Which will give us faster service, and which has more of a variety of food? We have the Deluxe Dining Plan, so don't worry about too much credits. And we may do this for breakfast every day, so variety is important.
I love a cheese omelet. My husband is a meat and potatoes man, and likes a full hot breakfast. We both like grits, especially with shredded cheese added. We're not into cold cereals or oatmeal.
We're in our early fifties, but kids at heart, so we don't mind the characters at Chef Mickey's. We just don't want to have to wait around for a waiter for service, want a meal that will tide us over, rather than a grab and go, then head to the parks. We'll probably have late lunch, maybe around 1:00 pm, so want enough to hold us until then.
Do either The Wave buffet or Chef Mickey's have beverage self serve? Juice, coffee?
Thanks for any info!
