We have a 7:10 PM ADR for dinner at Chef Mickeys when MK is open till midnight Easter week 2010.

With our other ADR's - I just figured out we will see all the characters at Chef Mickeys at our ADR;s for other WDW restaurants.

Should we keep our dinner at Chef Mickeys ?

If we cancel dinner at Chef Mickey's - where should we eat ? Any suggestions for in MK or near MK ?

I'm not sure what the reasoning is for you to cancel. I guess we need more info. Do you want to eat earlier?

Hi Pooh!

Who all will be dining with you that night? What park are you going to be at that day/night? What resort are you staying at? This would help me pick a restaurant.:goodvibes

If you're already getting those characters and want some new ones try the Crystal Palace. You'll get the Pooh characters. I prefer the food to Chef Mickey's. Both are a buffet.

We didn't like the food this time at Chef Mickey's. We always loved it before, but I will not be returning anytime soon!!

We are staying at the Dolphin most likely - or POFQ - but leaning 90% towards the Dolphin.

We will be spending the morning till about 1:30 pm at AK.
At AK that day, we will FP Safari 1st then we have an 8:20 AM Tusker breakfast (new for us and we do not 'pig out') and a 12:30 PM lunch at Yak & Yeti (new place for us). Then back to our resort.

We were thinking of going to MK that night b/c we will rest in the afternoon and MK is open till midnight Easter week.

Our cast - DH & DW in our 50's, DS just turned 18 and DD age 14 who is almost 15.

When have a breakfast at CP, lunch at LTT and lunch at the Plaza already planned. Cindy dinner is not our 'cup of tea'.

Should we eat earlier at the Dolphin or BW or YC/BC then go to MK ?

Should we do CS in MK for a quick dinner ? - but I think they will be packed b/c of Easter week.

Thanks

Breakfast is a keeper, ditch dinner!

We have LOVED our breakfast there and the character interaction is really fun! I can't speak for dinner, but we have always enjoyed Chef Mickeys. :thumbsup2

I agree! Tusker House is better than Chef Mickey's IMHO anyways... I have a similar day planned for my family except we are doing dinner at California Grill during Wishes.
Would you be interested in that? There's no better way to close out the day:wizard:
If not I suggest eating at your hotel before heading out sounds like the best plan.

I think Chef Mickeys is just okay for dinner. I would think breakfast would be better.

What about Ohana?

We did Chef Mickey's for dinner Thanksgiving week. We will not be back, the food was absolutely terrible! Maybe breakfast would be a better choice.

Since we have 2 TS that day - Tusker House and Yak & Yeti - I think we wil just do counter service - maybe the pizza window on the BW - or just Picabu's in the Dolphin.

I'll let my kids decide if they want Chef Mickey's - but I think we will opt out.
We have been to Chef Mickey's many times (especially when we stayed at CR - 3 times in 10 days), The napkin song get get a you out of the restaurant faster.

Time for our new places - Yak & Yeti lunch and Tusker House breakfast.
We are also doing Cape May for breakfast - another new place for us (nobody wanted to get up for it on our last day back in 2007). This time I have BC Cape May for 8:45 AM on our Day 2 - so we will not miss it :goodvibes
