Chef Mickey's to AoA after dinner

Apologies if this has been answered. I swear I spent 30 min looking through posts. We have Chef Mickey's reservations for 7:45pm on 2/5. We're staying at AoA. Calendar shows MK closing at 8pm. I think when we did breakfast at Chef Mickey's 2 years ago it lasted around an hour.

Do we try and take the monorail back to MK and then bus to AoA? Reading through other posts, it sounds like we could bus from Contemporary Resort to Disney Springs, then from Disney Springs to AoA if MK buses stop running, but I'll have exhausted 7 and 2 year-olds. Maybe Uber with at least 1 car seat? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If MK closes at 8 pm, you probably could get a bus back to your resort if you are back at the MK bus stop by 10 pm. I would walk from CR to MK as it will be quicker than taking the monorail.

You should be safe walking back to MK and taking the bus from there. They'll run buses until everyone is out of the park, witch will likely be 9:30 or so.

If Dinner runs really long, you can transfer at an open park or DS.
