I have a question about Chef Mickeys. Do you have to have reservations for the breakfast? Never been to it. Would really like some info about it. Staying offsite in August.

:earsgirl:

You don't have to.....but why take a chance of being dissapointed? Chief Mickey's is a VERY popular place to eat, especially for breakfast. We made our PS's in early July for our trip in Sept. We are celebrating DGS 6th birthday so we wanted to make sure we had a table :D

I would make a PS. You can always cancel it if you change your plans. This is a very busy restaurant so it wouldn't hurt to be better safe than sorry.

How do I go about getting PS? I have no clue where to call.

Thanks for the info.:Pinkbounc

I would make a ps. The telephone number is 407-939-3463.

Good Luck!!!!

It's not my favorite CB by a long shot. I do'nt like the napkin twirling--it hurts my brain that early in the morning. It's just a bit frenzied for my tastes.

That said, the food is OK at breakfast (dinner is another story) better than some, worse than others.

Reservations are most strongly suggested. This is a very popular restaurant. Will you be seated without one--probably, but you'll ahve a LONG wait.

Have to agree about the food at breakfast. Not very good. Dinner is much better. If you can try to go at dinner. Def. need PS for that.

Ducklite, could you tell me about the dinner buffet at Chef Mickey's. We've had the breakfast buffet a few times but never the dinner & I am planning on getting a PS for our next trip.
Thanks :D

yes please... tell more about the dinner cuz that's what we have PS for!

They have characters at dinner. Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Donald. Dinner has a nice salad bar. There is a carving station with some kind of meat (turkey, prime rib, ham) Veggies, good Mashed potatoes, a kind of seafood, pasta, chicken. Its pretty good and the kids love that they can be loud. Good desserts too! The kids can decorate their own cupcakes too!!

I think the dinner at Chef Mickey's is akin to wallpaper paste. It's one of the few WDW restaurant meals I'll never go back to. Overcrowded, overpriced, terrible food, IMHO poor selection, lukewarm, just yuck.

1900 Park Fare is a MUCH better dinner charcter meal.
