Chef Mickey's or Donalds?

If you had to choose between Chef Mickey's for breakfast or Donalds Breakfastosaurus which one would you pick and why? Thanks

Donald's only because it is in the park. You don't have to travel once you finished with breakfast to start your day in the world. Food is just about equal.

I guess it depends on which one is most convenient to where you're staying and what you have planned. I love Chef Mickeys but prefer it for dinner. We no longer do character breakfasts because for the money and food, dinners seem to work out better.

After 2 poor experiences at Donald's in the past year, we have taken it off our must-do list. Food was just so-so, awful & rude service both times & all the characters come to the table together causing complete chaos.

We really enjoy Chef Mickey's for breakfast & it's much cheaper than the dinner there & usually a lot less crowded, too. We always get there at 7 am for an 8 am MK opening, or 8 am for a 9 am opening - works out great!!

You could also hop on the monorail after a couple hours at the MK for a late breakfast or brunch - I believe they seat until 11:30 am there.

Donalds! We've eaten there a few times, most recently last month and it's been great each time. I love that it's inside the park too.

We chose Donald's even after Mickey's was recommended. we were glad we did. Our kdis had a blast! Food was good, but the character interaction was hilarious and the servers get in on it too. Then, you can go right out the door and be in the parks. If you have a practical joke-type sense of humor, you will really like this one. We heard Mickey's is fun adn loud--singing and such. That would be the main difference as far as I know. That, and Donald's is one of the few places to see Donald.

We love both but on our last trip we chose Donald's. My kids were so impressed with our server - Magic Mikeasaurus - that they had to have his autograph and picture along with the rest of the characters. Our next trip in December includes both character meals.

Chef Mickey's all the way. It was a true Disney experience as far as I'm concerned...very colorful, loud and the like. You also get the chance to have your picture taken in front of the big plate, which has become a family tradition with us. The food is AWESOME. We did Donald's too, but I didn't like the food selection, chracater interaction or atmosphere as much. It seemed really cramped.

Just back did both and would have to vote for Donalds. The food, characters and service were all excellant. Plus there is no better way to get on the first safari of the day after an early breakfast reservation.

Have never been to Donalds but reading the Dis I've heard enough not to go. Been to CM and the kids loved it so much, my daughter is a Cinderella fan and even liked it better than CP.

Thanks for the replies! I'm still not sure which one to chose, but I think I'm leaning toward Chef Mickey's. I still have some time to decide. Although I think Donalds is the only place we will get to see Donald without standing in line somewhere. Keep the replies coming!

Chef Mickey's hands down. It is a much better breakfast IMO.

I think you can usually find Donald at Chef Mickey's for the Dinner, just not the breakfast. We've also had good luck seeing him at Animal Kingdom on the Camp Minnie-Mickey trails & at the Toontown Tent where they have character lines. The lines aren't bad if you get there right when Toontown opens at 10 am one morning. HTH!
