Title says it all. I've been to CP once for breakfast... food was good, character interaction average. Taking my DSD6 who has never been to WDW before. We have our princess meal set up, just need one more and I'm undecided between these two. It would be for dinner. Any comments on where the better food is? She likes the characters at both, so that isn't an issue. I've read very mixed reviews on CM, but I'm willing to try anything once.

Both are great in their own way however I personally would choose CP. It's our must do on every trip. Why don't you allow her to choose. Let her look at some pics or videos on youtube and she can decide what looks best. Good luck and I'm sure whatever is chosen you will have a great time. :thumbsup2

I think the food at CP is much better. I like the charachters better at Chef Mickey. That's why we rotate the two when we have the grand kids with us.

My choice would be Chef Mickeys. We've been to CM many times and CP once, but that one time wasn't a good experience. The character interaction was good, but we didn't like the food as some of it was raw and a lot of it was just luke warm and not hot.

. We really enjoyed the food at cp and really didn't enjoy cm. better characters at cm but better food at cp. and you can't beat the location

Since you have a princess meal lined up I would go for CM. This way if you cannt wait for characters she can get the big 5 and the princess. We did a CM breakfast and it was nothing special but we enjoyed it. Weve done a lunch at CP it was on the level of Old Country Buffet or Golden Coral, not all that great. No complaints about the characters at any of the meals weve ever done, very great opportunity to see characters and not cut into ride time. Meals are my 6 year olds preference for meeting characters.

I like CM for an off park day.
