Please help me decide...

On our first night at WDW...which place for dinner?

I have 2 boys (5 years & 1 year old). It will be me, my DH, our sons and our Moms.

I have never eaten at either place.

We don't have park passes for that day, so I thought eating a character dinner at a resort would give the boys the chance to warm up to the character before we go to the park.

Which place is the food the best?

Thanks guys...almost time to make my PS...so I gotta decide. LOL

I haven't been to both, just Chef Mickey's. It was the first place we went with my young ones on their first trip. I thought it was a good place to warm up to the characters before being over-stimulated at the MK! I loved the atmosphere and the food was pretty good in my book but I'm not really that picky.
All in all I don't think you could go wrong at either place. Good luck deciding!! :sunny:

I couldn't decide either, so I have breakfast at CM, breakfast and dinner at 1900 PF booked! Our first night we're going to Garden Grill, but we have UPH's, so tickets aren't a problem.

I've heard that CM is a great way to start your vacation, party-like atmosphere, loud, lots of action. I'd guess 1900 PF might be a little quieter, but don't know for sure.

Have you checked out the menus on allearsnet.com? Hope you decide!

I have looked over the menus...everything looks so yum-yum at both places. LOL

I think I might have to just go to breakfast at one and dinner at the other. LOL

Thanks...:wave2:

I am having the same problem. I think we are going to the Gala Feast for dinner one night so my husband can have some prime rib.

And then we will do Chef Mickeys for breakfast. Now I am hungry. :hyper:

Lucky you now you are doing the double digit dance.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

But I am not far behind you!:thewave:
