Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare for Dinner.

We have all our other ADR's booked up and don't have credits left for Signature Dining. We are planning on MK that night. I have never been to either for dinner (several breakfast's at Chef's) and DH hasn't visited either location. We love just about any type of food, are adventerous eaters, and like the charector meals. It's just gonna be us and no kids. have checked out the menus at allears and both look good. Anyone favor one over the other? and Why?

Thanks

Hi there! We went to 1900 Park Fare for dinner last summer actually. It was nice, our DD3 loved it. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it without her personally. The food was good, nothing spectacular. But it seemed to be alllllll about the kids, even more so than normal. Tons of little girls in their princess outfits. Very quiet atmosphere otherwise. I guess it kind of depends on what kind of ambiance you want. If you want something a little more fancy and quiet, do 1900 Park Fare. The little girls are darling and the step sisters are hilarious! If you want something more up beat than do Mickey's. I'm sure you have, but just in case, have you considered the California Grill at the Contemporary? It's supposed to be wonderful! Good luck :)

We ate at both and 1900 Park Fare the food was better in my opinion. I was disappointed with Chef Mickey's but the other post said it all about 1900 PF, Little girls with princess dresses on all over the place. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and her daughters are the characters at this restaurant. The step sisters are a hoot..

I really enjoy them both. I think 1900 has a bit more optionis for food, with the different stations serving Italian, seafood, Asian, etc. I love the performances the step sisters put on at each table, I am telling you, the women they get to be those two characters are top notch in their roles! And of course Prince Charming and Cinderella are also fun to see.

All that said, Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun too. We've always enjoyed our meals there (breakfast and dinner) and its a high energy kind of place that gets you in the mood to be at WDW!

You can't make a bad choice really, they are both good in my book.

We did both last Feb. and plan to do both again in April. However, if I had to choose only one, I would pick 1900 PF because the food is better.

yeah we were crazy about the dinner meal at Chef Mickey's but we haven't ate at 1800 either but can't go wrong with PRIME RIB:banana::banana:

We've eaten at both, and would choose 1900. We're all adults and were fine there, and IMO the food is better. We stopped off for a drink in the bar, browsed the stores, and enjoyed the live music all before dinner.

Neither...the food is super blech at both places.
