Chef Mickey's Opinions, Please!!

What do you think - Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner? Which do you prefer???

If you want to save money and still see/interact with the characters then go for the breakfast. It's a nice way to start the day. But personally I prefer the dinner. When my kids were younger, they loved making cupcakes with Goofy at the dessert bar after dinner. We haven't been to CM's since 2001 but I recall they had a pretty good roast or prime beef at dinner ? The kids loved the children's dinner buffet too.

I have only eaten here for breakfast and we enjoyed it. Character interaction was very good. My daughter(who is 6)was on top of the world here. Definitely a good choice.

If you are planning on doing the parks after breakfast then I would not waste prime hours eating. We have done CM for dinner the last 5 years. After a long day in the parks we were happy to sit down and relax

Another vote for breakfast here for CM. We've done breakfast twice at CM and dinner once and even though dinner was nice, we enjoyed our breakfast selection better. All 3 times, we had wonderful character interaction too! We LOVE CM!!! Hope you have a magical time.

Sorry to say, we didn't enjoy our dinner at CM - but we've only been the one time. Never wanted to go back.

My girlfriend and her family went for breakfast and just loved it. Now, you gotta understand my friend doesn't like anything! LOL! So that is quite a compliment!!!!

I would have to vote for breakfast as well. Even though it may be early, everyone seems to be more rested and is able to enjoy the activities better. I also like the food selection for the breakfast.

Never been to breakfast; dinner twice. The garlic mashed potatoes are a must. We also enjoyed getting a family picture while we waited for our table by the check in desk.

Our first year was fantastic...sat in a brightly lit and festive section. Last year we were in a dark corner and flagged down a few characters. All in all, gotta try at least once, then decide. Food wasn't bad, atmosphere was very good, seating placement helps.

I have only been to bfast and like it really well. I have heard bfast is way better than dinner and its less expensive.

We always go there before we go to MK for the first time during that trip. Puts us in the right spirit and makes MK seem really great after seeing Mickey

The dinner food has gone downhill. It is harder to mess up breakfast. Go for breakfast. (I hear the donuts are Krispy Kremes.)

Another vote for breakfast. I've never had dinner there but the breakfast selections were great and so was the character interaction. We usually do CM on a "no park" day, this way we still get our character fix.

We have done dinner the past few times, but will be doing breakfast next week. I am a big fan of Breakfastsaurus at AK, so I imagine this will be just as good if not better.

Go for dinner. We love Chef Mickey's for dinner. I would recommend 1900 Park Fare at the GF for breakfast.

We love the dinner there. We request a table in the main area and always have had good service and characer interaction.

We did have breakfast there a couple of times. The last time I got very sick afterwards....stomach bug. I guess that's just stuck with me and we never went back for breakfast. I don't remember it as being anything special.

Our favorite breakfast b uffett is Boma, but there are no characters.
