Chef Mickey's..only for people without kids?

I was wondering if anyone has gone to Chef Mickey's that doesn't have kids. I was thinking about making reservations for myself and my friends when we are in Disney in May. We are all in our late 20's and early 30's, and I think we would have a good time, but I wasn't sure if it would be wierd if we were the only people without kids. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Just my wife and I went last year and this year, my wife, myself and my parents are going. We never felt weird nor should we. It's just all-around great fun to go to Chef Mickey's!

My DW and I go to WDW for our wedding anniversary every year and always do the character buffets. It's great to watch all the kids when you don't have your own grandchildren along to occupy most of your time!

Me and DH are in our 30's and 40's and we always go to at least one character meal. Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun! Definitely buy the picture they have you pose for upon entering. For us, that picture is priceless!

We go every year and we also see lots of people without kids. We have also been when we didnt have kids. Kids or no kids go and have fun!

My mother (in late 40's) and myself (in 20's) used to go to DW together every year, and we always did the Character meals. There were a lot of other adult only tables. The only place where we were the only adult table was at the Princess Breakfast, but we had a great time anyway.

I usually go to Chef Mickey's with other adult friends. Food is good and atmosphere is fun. It is one of the places I really enjoy eating. Be warned, it is not fine dining. Just a slightly above average buffet with a really relaxed and festive atmosphere. People that go thinking they will be eating at a Michelin 3-star restaurant, are often disappointed.

our last trip was kidless and i didn't feel weird about it any place...wdw isn't "just for kids" anyplace imo

My Dh and I have been to lots of character meals by ourselves. That's never wierd. But we wouldn't go Chef Mickey's by ourselves because we don't find the food to be very good. We love the food at 1900 Park Faire and the Crystal Palace so we'll go there on our own. But we will only take children to Chef Mickey's for the expirience because we really don't care for the food

My husband and I have dinner at Chef Mickey's on every trip. We book it for the last night of our trip. The food is good and we enjoy relaxing and watching the characters interact with the children at the other tables.

Chef Mickey's is always our traditional first meal of the trip whether i am with my husband and kids or with a bunch of girlfriends. Sometimes, we act sillier THAN the kids, lol! This little waving guy needs a towel to wave like at Chef Mickeys!

Hubby & I are going for our 2nd consecutive childless trip to WDW and already have PS for Chef Mickey's on our first morning....same as the last trip. I love Chef Mickey's and wouldn't miss it for anything. Besides EVERYONE is a kid at WDW!!!

Nah. DBF and I do character meals all the time. We also know another couple of are about 10 years older than us (we're 22 and 23) and they do them too...just them as well. It's not weird. It's a good chance to get some great pics with the characters too.

Thanks for all the advice...we decided to book it and start out our vacation there, since we aren't going into the park the day we arrive. We are all very excited. I'm sure we'll have a great time. Thanks everyone!
