Another short notice question...

How likely is it that DH and I could get an ADR at Chef Mickey's for a trip in 2 weeks? Would breakfast or dinner be easier to get into? Thanks!

There is noone here that could give you the answer because we dont know how booked they are. I would just call the number and ask. YOu may have to eat at an off time but since it's after easter I would say you may have a better chance. The parks might not be packed. Chef Mickey's is very popular though

thanks for the reply. I figured that since it was after a holiday we'd have a better chance. I also wanted to see if anyone else had an easy time getting in or not and when we'd have a better shot at getting in. After all there are Disney experts on these boards :)

I think the crowds die down from after easter until mid may. We had trouble with our Chef Mickey's Reservation but we are staying in June which is alot busier. Give it a try and ask. The worst they can say is "no" and if you are flexible you will be able to get something even if the time is a little off.

You can never tell, we have walked up and been able to walk in, have called during the day and been told not chance, I depends on the time of year, the day of the week and the alignment of Saturn to the Moon of Neptune

Always give it a try

Dave

Just to let you know I tried a few days ago for either bfast or dinner for our trip (13 days away....yay!) and was told April was booked solid. I've been making some ADRs over the past few days, and have always asked about Chef Mickey's just to check and still haven't had any luck.

We're going mid may and I've been trying to get a dinner within out 10 day time period. Nothing unless I want to eat at 8PM.

I'll keep trying and also when we get there. People cancel all the time.

Call try to make one ADR :thumbsup2
We made all our ADR 180 out , called to change one for CM'S for June , the only on left was 9;00 pm June 12-20 one all week

take care
have a great trip

HAPPY EASTER ;)

I remember reading in the past about people showing up at the very start of dinner and getting a spot in the past, but I don't know if the Dining Plan and the fact that they now have lunch have changed this possibility. I would call each day, even when you are down there, and if you have your heart set on it and you haven't gotten your reservation they try at the very beginning of dinner.
Good Luck!

I called yesterday for my last minute trip on the 20th to 30th of April. I got a ressie for 7:45 but the only other ones left for the entire time was at 9:10. If you have kids I can't imagine eating that late. I am hoping I can hold my 19 month old grandson out for 7:45. Late lunch, nap at 3 and dinner at 8. He should be really great the next day.
