My daughter LOVES anything Mickey Mouse. We go to Downtown Disney every weekend (she calls it the Mouse House) and gets REALLY excited whenever she sees Mickey or Minnie anywhere. For her 3rd birthday, I am going to take her to the actual parks for the first time...I imagine she'll like it a little bit more. Do you think that doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast will be appropriate for her? She does fairly well in a normal restaraunt, but I worry that with the characters walking around, she will not eat.

Also, considering I've never done it myself, how does it work? Do you have to make reservations? Is it expensive?

Any and all info is much appreciated :)

There were LOTS of small children at Chef Mickey's when we went, including my own. I think your family will love it! The cost is comparable to other character meals at Disney.

I did make a PS reservation as it is very popular.

that you take her the day before her birthday. That way she is free and it doesn't matter if she eats or not :)

If you like Mickey this is a great place. He cooks all the food!!! The atmosphere can be a little overstimulating, but it is great for kids. I have to place my DDs in a high chair to keep them from chasing the characters all over the place.

You can check out the menu and prices at www.wdwig.com. Probably about $10 per child and $20 per adult.

You just call 407-wdw-dine and make a PS for your date.

Have a great time!!! Make sure you stop at guest services when you are in the parks to get a birthday button. The characters and CMs really pay attention to that in the Magic Kingdom.

I'm eating there tomorrow with my almost 3yo DS, he loves it there. I think it's 24.99 for adults, I agree with taking her while she's still free.

If she loves Mickey, she will love the breakfast and the parks. I know my 3 year old has trouble at times eating when he's distracted and for lots of reasons, known only to a 3 year old. I would still take your daughter though. Chef Mickey's is really more about the characters than about the food, although the food is great.

We went to the dinner at Chef Mickeys. It was good and they have Mickey and Minnie both going around the tables. They go to your table twice while you are there. They have Pluto and Chip and Dale.
