LOL I've been back from my trip to the World almost a month (tomorrow) and I STILL have the song from CM's stuck in my head! Reading this thread just brought it all back to me... "M I C K E YYYYYY M OUSE... Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouuussseee... forever let us hold our heads up high high high. Come along and sing a song and join our jamboree.. M I C K E Y M O U S E" LOL
We stayed in the Contemporary during the free dining period. We had reservations for CM the morning after we arrived and our last morning there. We did our first breakfast and the 4 yr old freaked at the characters. But that night she wanted to go back and have marshmallows for dinner (all she pretty much ate for breakfast) so we went back and because they were just opening they were able to seat us without a reservation. Both meals we were seated in the room straight back behind where they take pictures. Lots of characters came in there. The food was eh, typical buffet food. The cheesey potato thing they have during breakfast is really good. Dessert was good. Everything else was just ok. Nothing I'd write home about.
We ended up skipping our last breakfast and hit the EMH's instead that morning. We weren't sorry to miss it. We did have lunch that afternoon at the Concourse Steakhouse and thought the food was GREAT!! The atmosphere was nice, the CMs were great, and it was nice to sit back and relax before going home. Our only complaint was that we hadn't eaten there sooner. We'll definitely go back next trip.
