Chef Mickeys ..need advice for ADR

So we are leaving for Disney in just over 2 weeks and I happened to be checking for Chef Mickeys for our second night (AK day) for dinner (my daughters must do). Low and behold there was a 505p ADR available. I was able to grab it
Now usually at AK we are finished about 3-330ish (the kids dont care for the shows or parade). We will be staying at POR, usually the bus from AK has a pretty long line..would you try to go back to POR and get cleaned up quick for dinner or just take the bus to the CR and go in your park clothes?

I might add we have never been able to get into CM so Im not sure if park clothes are even appropriate

If it were me, I'd take the bus directly to the Contemporary from AK. Chef Mickey's is super casual and I'm sure there will be tons of people in there who have come directly from MK (i.e. since it's right there).

Direct to CM and enjoy your meal. Park clothes are fine. It is a very casual place. Then you will have the rest of the night to do something else. You will waste so much time going back to the hotel to change...

Thats awesome to hear !!! Being that its in the CR I wasnt sure about dress code. All my DD has been talking about is Chef Mickey and up till now I didnt think we'd be able to get her there.. So excited!!!!
