Chef Mickey's mixed feelings

We went to Chef Mickeys and really enjoyed the food and the interactions with the characters but during breakfast I could help but notice the birds flying around above our heads, then a feather landed right on my plate (thank God it wasn't something else) Was this just a fluke kind of thing or is this common there? It kind of grossed me out, my kids didn't seem to care so I guess we are going there again this summer but just wanted to see if this happens quite often?

Yeap, with the monorail openings on both sides of the resort it's pretty tough to keep the birds out.

Not much different than eating at some of the restaurants outside in which the seating areas have some type of tree covering. Disney property is packed with birds. Just try walking on the boardwalk with an ice cream cone LOL!! The gulls come sweeping down from behind you and take off the top of your ice cream cone!! Happened to me.

I personally am not a fan of Chef Mickeys foodwise, but enjoy the characters. Everytime we have been there we have always seen birds flying around. You're right, lucky it was only a feather.
