Chef Mickey's LUNCH?

I read somewhere that Chef Mickey's is open for lunch for at least part of the free dining period. Can anyone confirm this? I'd love to snag a lunch ADR for Oct 1st if so.

They are open for lunch, but you may need to let the CMs know that! I called a while ago when I read here that there was a lunch setting during free dining.

The first CM told me that wasn't true. Came back to the boards, found a post about someone who had gotten a reservation the same DAY I was interested in. Called back, got a CM who said that yes, there WAS lunch that day ...... but it wasn't a character lunch!

Called back AGAIN ..... got a wonderful CM who laughed when I told her my adventures, and said "Why would anyone want to go to Chef Mickey's for lunch if it WASN'T a character lunch?" Made a lunch reservation, and then after all that, reconsidered later and cancelled the ADR. Whew.
