Chef mickeys late breakfast?

DS would like to try chef mickeys this trip. The only available time was 12:05 pm. Is this still breakfast or are there lunch items as well? How does CM compare to CP, CRT, TH, H&V, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare-- we've done these before and enjoyed them. How are the chefs at handling food allergies? We've had varying experiences with chefs at buffets. TIA!

The menu will be similar, if not identical, to that night's dinner menu. CM only opens for lunch during busy times and breakfast ends at 11:20a. The food is on par with what you'd find at the other character buffets.

I have a 12:25 ADR at CM on Sunday Nov 30th, it states "breakfast" on my ADR. (Sunday after Thanksgiving)
I emailed and asked if it was an error, since breakfast ends at 11:30.
The response I got was that breakfast was extended that day.
So, I assume breakfast foods

I don't know how much I'd rely on phone/email Cast Members to provide accurate information on this. They sit in a call center/office, often not even in Florida, and frequently provide misinformation. Bumping this for you in hopes someone who's done Chef Mickey's during this time in a busy season can answer. My initial instinct says that it would be lunch foods (same as dinner usually) and not breakfast foods. Buffets that serve lunch all have lunch out at this time, which is very similar to the dinner offerings. I've never heard of theme extending breakfast through the lunch hour...?

We like CM and TH best out of all the character meals we've done. We thought both were nicer atmospheres and had better offerings than Ohana.

The only thing that had me thinking it was breakfast, besides my ADR saying breakfast, is the CM said it was only extended until 12:30. I figured they wouldn't change up the food for only an hour?

Guess if no one with experience responds it'll be a surprise!

I really do not care either way. Just want DS2 to see the Fab5 on his first Disney day!

I guess we will find out too! I was surprised it says "breakfast" for our ADR around noon--that's why I wondered about "brunch" items...maybe because we are going week of Christmas they have extended breakfast?

We've eaten at CM twice during busy times (Easter week), one ADR was at 12p and the other at 1p, and both times the buffet had dinner offerings.
