Since we will be attending an evening EMH at the MK with young children, I made a late ADR for CM the next morning at 11:05. I have heard that there can be more interaction with the characters because it will be less crowded. But what about the food? Will everything still be available and more important, fresh and hot? Don't want to feel rushed eating. I thought I read that ADRs can be made until 11:30. What time does the restaurant actually close?
TIA

My family and I have not been there for breakfast, however based on the posts I have read the food is always fresh no matter what time your ADR is that.

We always get the 11:20 ADR time (and have done so probably 5-6 times, including Oct. 2008) and have never had a problem with the food not being hot and plentiful. Usually around 11:45 or so they will close one side of the buffet but the 2 sides are identical so this does not matter. The open side continues to be replenished, with all choices still being offered.

Last time we were there most of the characters came to our table twice, and during the party song there was great interaction because only our section of the restaurant still had guests and so all of the characters were dancing around in only about 1/4 of the restaurant.

Enjoy!

That's good to hear. We also have a late breakfast ressie and I was wondering about the character interaction. When I called I believe they said the buffet is open until 12pm.

We had an 11:00 ressie last year for Breakfast and everything was great! They were still brining out food and everything was fresh. We are going back this year!!:woohoo:

We love doing the late breakfast at CM, it fits better into our touring. We have an 11:20 ADR this trip and had the same exact time last time we were there.

We went expecting (from what I had read) it not to be so crowded that late. It was packed! Maybe we will have a little bit better luck this year. :)

Thanks so much for the info. We have been to CM quite a few times but it's always been around 8am. The food has always been good and plentiful. Since we are having "first timers" with us I wanted to see what others had experienced.

I have a 10:30 ADR for our trip in two weeks. Is this time typically busy or is it starting to die down by then?

We ate there 2 weeks ago, 10:30 and we were there until 11:15 and I can tell you the food was awesome, very fresh and as long as people were there they were bringing out new fresh dishes.

It was very busy and I can honestly say the kids in our area did not get more or less attention from the characters than any other time of the day.
