Chef Mickey's for Late Breakfast

How is the character interaction if you go for breakfast at cm late? Is it less crowded and therefore more character time? If it says they serve breakfast until 11:30 does that mean characters stop coming around at 11:30?

We had a late breakfast at CM our last trip. Not as late as you are talking, closer to 10:45 I think. It was great. Lots of interaction, no waiting at the desk. We really enjoyed it. I can't imagine they would stop the characters before everyone is out of there. I have always heard good reports about late meals. JJ

We had a late breakfast there in May! It was wonderful!!!

We enjoyed a late breakfast in June (11:10 AM seating time) and we were a large party (20 people). We practically had the characters to ourselves and took some wonderful photos. Mickey sat down and held our son for quite a while. It was a great time!

We have gone to CM everytime we go to WDW and we always book it between 10:45-11:20 and we always get character interaction and singing. There is always fresh food out and tons of it left. Have fun

does the breakfast turn into lunch or does the place close down and start again when all the breakfast guests have left??

I may be wrong, but I think that most of the year there is no lunch. I think they open it for lunch during the busy free dining period. But the rest of the year they close in between. JJ

We went last time to the last breakfast seating (11:20, maybe) and it was great. Breakfast food was hot and fresh the whole time, and we got lots of character interaction. We're doing that way again on our next trip: MK at 8 a.m. for LOMH, then monorail over to the Contemporary for an 11:10 seating.

There usually is no lunch at CM. When breakfast is done they close the place and get it ready for supper with characters. I believe the last sitting is around 11:30 am. We love this place and we make sure we go once every visit.

Because we are going in December (no free dining), I was told that lunch was not being served at Chef Mickeys -- breakfast is served until 11:30 am and dinner starts at 4:00 pm. The CM told me that lunch is only served during "free dining". We have ADR's for 10:40 am on Dec. 8th -- can't wait!
