I'm stuck! Chef Mickey's for breakfast or Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner?!?! It's myself, my husband, and our 2 little girls, ages 2 and 4.

I can't really compare..we're trying WWC this coming trip, but we did do Chef Mickey's breakfast on our last trip. Can I just tell you the food is AMAZING YUMMMY DELICIOUS! I know that's not an actual phrase but no other way to describe it. There are so so so many choices you can't go wrong no matter how picky of an eater or not picky of an eater you may be/have in your party. (I'm picky, my wife is not) Also the Characters are the classic Disney characters and they really do manage to get around to everyone and interact on a personal level. Also, everyone in the restaraunt is so happy and in such a good mood that everyone is just so friendly. We took pictures for the people sitting next to us and they took pictures for us. It's a wonderful time. Also the little kids can run around and no one minds. It's a loud and active meal but very fun and very compatable for little kids.

We did both last December with our boys ages 7 and 10. Whispering Canyon had great food (ate WAY too much) but the boys weren't into all the hoopla that goes on. Really enjoyed seeing the resort. The boys enjoyed Chef Mickey's more. We were on the Dining Plan so did both - I know we would have never paid out of pocket for Chef Mickey's as it is the most expensive breakfast we have ever eaten - but I'm glad we did it. A lot of character interaction with the "big ones" - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, etc.

With kids 2 & 4 I would definately choose Chef Mickeys for breakfast. The food is very good and the characters are fun. I think the *fun* at WCC for dinner might be lost on them because of their ages. :)

Chef MICKEYS!!! NO CONTEST! We love CM and did Whispering Canyon last time with our kids. So much MEAT there! Not a huge fan...Anyway, do Chef Mickeys for sure!!!:woohoo:

Def Chef Mickeys! The breakast is great! The WCC food was greasy and fatty and there were no fun and games going on except pony races

Both were good, but I'd go with CM for breakfast. You get the characters, plus a better selection of food smaller kids would eat.

I don't care for the food at CM and I'm a huge Wilderness Lodge fan, and WITH THAT SAID I still think it's a no-brainer in favor of Chef Mickey's when you consider the age of your kids.

Absolutely Chef Mickey's. My favourite breakfast buffet!

I have to say one of my co-workers took his 4 and 6 year granddaughters and they loved WCC. They took in every minute of it.

But they loved Chef Mickey's too!

I adore Wilderness Lodge, but honestly, we dislike WCC - been twice and had poor service both times probably because we were in out-of-the-way locations both times. Don't know for sure, but that shouldn't have mattered. The food there is OK.

Chef Mickey's is a MUST do for every family at least once! We've been well over 6 times and never had a bad experience. You know where my vote goes :thumbsup2

Another vote for Chef Mickey's breakfast. :thumbsup2 We've done WCC for dinner twice and both times thought it was super greasy and yucky! For you, your kids are a great age to enjoy the antics at Chef Mickey's! Have a great time! :goodvibes

DD6 says Chef Mickey's!

She also loves WCC but I think your 2 year old is definitely too young to appreciate it and would enjoy Chef Mickey's a lot more. Chef Mickey's also has a much better selection of food for the kiddos.
