Chef Mickeys for a 11:15 am Breakfast ?

How is Chef Mickeys for breakfast ?

We would like to do an Early Morning (EE)
MK day and then monorail to the Contemporary
for a late (11:15 am) breakfast.

Do you think breakfast items will be
still on the buffet ? fresh items ?

When does lunch items start their way
on to the buffet ?

Do they still take your picture at breakfast
like they do at dinner ?

My kids love bacon, Mickey waffles, fruit...
breakfast items. I hope 11:15 am is not too late.

There is no lunch at Chef Mickey's, only breakfast and dinner, so you'll have no worries about them switching over during your meal. I have never been there for a late breakfast so I'll leave it to someone else to let you know how the offerings were at that time.

I was wondering the same thing. We'll be sleeping in, eating at CM at 11:15, and heading home... just want to go out with a bang instead of a whimper.

We ate there for our Ds's birthday in Dec. using the latest possible seating and we were 10 minutes late. It was the best experience of my life. I felt like we had the characters to ourselves. There were only 5 families in the restuarant. They did close the one side of the buffet but the one open was warm , full and delicious as always. Making the last seating is a great idea except at Whispering Canyon Cafe. We went there late in the afternoon looking for a break from the crowds which we were able to do. However when the crowds are low they don't pull off the antics that we were looking forward to.

The last Ps at CM's for breakfast is the best. As people leave, no one comes in to replace them and the characters focus on the ones left. We started our trip with this exact PS last year and it was great. Lots of good pictures of DD and the characters. Food was also excellent and not cold as many would think being the last of the morning.

So, is 11:15 the latest breakfast CM's offers?
We plan to do that same thing on Christmas...go to EE at MK, then leave for a late breakfast/early lunch at CMs. For some reason I thought I had heard 10:00 was the latest, but 11:15 would be much better.

Check out this web site http://wdwig.com/menu/menus.htm it has all the restaurants and the times they are serving. Chef Mickeys for breakfast is 7a.m. to 11:30. Enjoy, it is really a fun place.

11:15 am is the latest they have unless they have changed from this past July.
