We are going in the spring, and trying to decide what ADR's we will need. In the past I have done almost all of the character meals, but never Chef Mickey's. This is going to be the first trip for our only child, and she will be 11 months old when we go. I have read very mixed reviews for dinner here, so we are thinking breakfast. I want something loud and lively for her, as she already loves music. For those of you who have traveled with young children and ate here, what did you think? How was the food? And if it was awful, where else would you suggest?

We took our 2 year old last year for breakfast and we all liked it. The food was good. There was a nice variety to choose from and our daughter got so excited when the characters came out.

I'm going with a 3 year old & a 1 year old in 2 weeks. I say it probably is a great place as I heard it's really loud so it's good to not have worry about your kids being loud.

Our daughter was 8 mos. old the first time she went and loved it! Food is not gourment, but it is good and filling. We usually like to go around 10 a.m. and it fills us for breakfast and lunch (of course a granola bar in the morning to tide us over). We got her a my first Mickey ears hat and the pictures came out beautiful. Great place for pictures because you don't feel overcrowded and she will be in a high chair and you can juggle the camera better.

Have fun!

We took our 13 month old grandson last week. He enjoyed it! The best was that he fell in love with Donald! When Donald waklked away, he started balling.
Donald came back three times, and finally, Liam stopped crying. Donald came back again, out of order, to say hi to him.
Now, we also have had the experience, in the past, with little ones, where their reaction to the characters was sheer terror!

We've done CM's breakfast a number of times, and dinner once last year. I wouldn't do dinner again - I didn't enjoy the food at all. But breakfast was pretty good - we tend to find most breakfast buffets better than dinner ones. Maybe because it's harder to mess up eggs and Mickey waffles? :goodvibes
