We have always done breakfast at cm, but did dinner this time. Was very disappointed in quality & Selection of food. Haven't been there in about 3 years. Way overpriced.

I agree. We really enjoyed breakfast here but decided to try dinner on our last trip. Food was a disappointment, at least the kids enjoyed the characters and napkin-waving fun. Will absolutely switch back to breakfast next time.

I've only been there for the character breakfast and that was always good, I've been hearing only negative things about the dinner :-\

I honestly don't understand the hype even for breakfast, besides the main characters being there, Chef Mickey's just doesn't have a real Disney feeling environment to me like Tusker House, Crystal Palace or some of the others.

I totally agree, we have been a few times but have switched to garden grill. I enjoy the food as well as the better attention from the characters :)

You all have me worried. I have an ADR for dinner for our upcoming trip. Not sure what to do now. We have loved CM the times that we went. The food was decent and we enjoyed the interaction with the characters. We haven't been since Dec. 09.

We went last October and enjoyed it. Character interaction was wonderful and food was good. Some in our party of 7 even thought it was GREAT! It definitely isn't a top notch foody experience by any means, but we have always found the selection to be plentiful enough that everyone found plenty to satisfy them. Especially with picky eaters and kids.

We had a great meal last July food was hot and delicious. They had ribs that night in addition to their usual offerings and they we so good. It's still one of DD's favorites and she's 16 so we always visit Chef Mickeys each trip :goodvibes

I wouldn't worry. We have a dinner adr for Oct and I am looking forward to it.

We have never been disappointed with CM.

I think food quality is average. Is it overpriced? Yes. But we go there for the character interaction

we went last weekend. since I have a food allergy, I have a harder time eating there, the rest of my family does not and they really enjoyed their meal!! The Mickey pasta is everyones favorite!

is it overpriced? yes, but this is my sons favorite place to go, and his smiles make up for it!

I'm sorry to hear that. We have ADR's at Chef Mickey's on Halloween night. We have never been there and it was a request of our son to eat with Minnie and Mickey. Is there somewhere else I should try to get an ADR instead? The plan was to spend the day at AK, trick-or-treat at DTD, have dinner at Chef Mickey's at 8pm and then view the Halloween fireworks from there.

I liked Chef Mickey's for the character interaction. We've been there for breakfast and dinner many times and the food isn't very good. For the money, a lot of restaurants have better food, but for the experience, you can't beat it. I'm not sorry we ate there, we have great memories but now that my kids enjoy food more than characters we won't be rushing back.

A good buffet style dinner that still has characters in 1900 Park Fare (Cinderella, prince charming, evil step mom and sisters) The interaction is GREAT and the food is a higher end buffet. You should try it.
