Chef Mickey's & fireworks- HELP!!!

Can anyone please tell me what time to make the reservations for Chef Mickey's in order to view the fireworks??

We want to eat CM's on Saturday May, 17. I called Disney and they cannot tell me what time the fireworks start on that date.

Also can you tell me specifically where to go to view the fireworks??


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i made my reservations to chef mickey's two hours before the fireworks were scheduled. i made it out to the viewing area with 5 minutes to spare (there was a little wait for my ps's). the viewing area is located on the fourth floor and the access is on the opposite side of the floor that chef mickey's is on. you just go up 1 flight of stairs and you are right there. we asked one of the cm's at the store near chef mickey's and they were more than helpful. there were only about 20 people out there. nicest way to start the disney magic!

At the Poly; YES! Not only can you relax on a lounge chair but you get the reflection of the fireworks in the water.

I have PS for Chef Mickey at 8:00PM with fireworks at 7:00PM is there somewhere I can watch and still get to my seatings.
