No, I didn't find CM's desserts anything special. Two types of standard soft serve ice cream with dry toppings (kids will like them, but they aren't very "adult" -- jimmies, m&ms, gummy bears, spree). They had very nice *looking* petite fours, but they tasted so so (think grocery store fare). There were also some baked goods (red velvet cake, cheese cake, apple cobbler, etc.). Again, they were fine, but nothing that was in any way memorable. All in all I would say CM's dessert bar is average -- not disgusting, but certainly nothing that drew my attention.
Now for a buffet, I thought that 1900 Park Fare had wonderful desserts! The variety there wasn't as broad as Chef Mickey's, but everything was (real) bakery fresh. I'm not a chocolate person, so I don't recall the chocolate offering, but they had heavanly bread pudding, a nice key lime tart, really good apple cobbler, etc. Those desserts I wanted to go back and get seconds on!
