We are staying at CSR in November. I'm thinking about booking dinner at Chef Mickey's for our arrival day. Hopefully you can help me with my questions:
1. Can I get Disney transportation from CSR to Chef Mickey's?
2. I've heard the dinner can get very loud. Can someone describe the scene? My kids are 7 & 3. If they are feeling a little shy on their first night at Disney, will they still enjoy the dinner -- if they don't participate?

Thanks!
Nancy

Ask the Magic Kingdom Bus Driver to drop you off at the Contemporary Resort :)

We did this for our Breakfast at Chef Mickey's - and then rode the Monorail to Magic Kingdom.

I also agree with TruBlue on taking the bus to Magic Kingdom and then catching the Monorail to CR.

Have Fun!

CSR does NOT have a bus that will take you directly to the Contemporary.

You will need to take a bus to Magic Kingdom then take the Monorail.

I'll bet your kids will really enjoy the monorail ride over, and getting off in the middle of the hotel. I know my boys did!!!

Chef Mickey's is a great, really fun place. We love it!!!

That's an easy way to get there and the monorail is just a short walk from the MK entrance. I don't think it's that loud that the kids would be scared. They do a wave the napkin thing, which my DD loves but you don't have to do it, you can just watch the crazy people! The characters will come right up to your table. DD never eats much because she's too excited.
