How does the rehab of the Grand Concourse affect the dining experience at CM? We have an ADR for next Thursday dinner :goodvibes and would love your opinions.

TIA! :sunny:

I'd like to jump on this thread and see if anyone has opinions if it will affect my 9/8 reservation at the Concourse Steakhouse? Thanks!

The last I heard there weren't going to be any councourse rehabs going on until next year. A couple of weeks ago there were some rumors, but it ended up that they were just changing some floor tiles and that was it. I would be interested to hear what's going on if I am wrong. I will be there on 9/19 and I will be bummed if I splurged on the CR and end up surrounded by construction.

That really makes me mad. I called because I thought that I might switch resorts and I was told that there was no construction planned during my visit 9/19 - 9/27.

Has anyone eaten at CMs in the past few days since the rehab of the concourse started? It looks from the photo on touringplans (thanks Armandocme) that the work is only on the opposite end...I'm wondering if it affects the experience adversely, even though it doesn't look like it would.

Thanks again!

I don't see how it would. Chef Mickey's is on the other end of the concourse. Besides, there's more noise coming from CM's in my experience than from the loudest construction. :)
