Chef Mickey's Christmas Morning

Please help! I just made a reservation for Chef Mickey's for Christmas morning at 10:30am. No problem. However I noticed that on my confirmation where it states the time that it says "does not include characters". Has anyone been to Chef Mickey's on Christmas morning and if so were there characters? My girls are older so I guess that doesn't play a huge factor but why go if there aren't any characters.

I don't think that is correct. They have characters at all breakfasts at Chef Mickey's.

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto are there 365 days a year so you don't have anything to worry about.

If you made that reservation online, lately the online system has said various things, like Garden Grill has no characters (they do) or Liberty Tree has characters (they don't), and has been throwing people into a tizzy for a few weeks now with that sort of thing.

We did CM for Christmas in 08 and the characters were most definatly there. Just an FYI it is a Christmas brunch, or I should say in 08 it was. There was a lot of dinner foods there and definatly not he large breakfast spread you see in the pics. For most its not a problem but I am weird. I can eat breakfast for dinner but not the other way around. My kids loved it though so that is all I cared about. I get the joy of having Christmas dinner at CM this year!

Thanks for the info! My girls will love the fact there will be dinner foods available. You sound a lot like me. I'm more into the breakfast foods and as long as there are Mikey waffles I'll be ok.

Thanks, I did make it online and would assume it was a fluke but I tried other TS character buffets and they said they had characters so I was just confused. We are looking forward to it as we've never eaten at CM in all our times at WDW.
