So I have a 2:15 reservation for Chef Mickeys brunch on a party day, and we are planning on heading to the park around 4:00. I also picked up a 10:25 breakfast at Cape May ( we are staying on the boardwalk), because I'm a little unsure about the brunch at chef mickeys.

Which would you pick? I thought 2:15 would be the best time, and we could head straight to the party afterwords, but I'm unsure of the restaurant itself. I did have dinner here 3 years ago. It was ok. The characters were good though.

We just had Cape May breakfast today and loved it. Since you're staying at the Boardwalk, is there another day you can eat there during your trip? Chef Mickeys would be convenient, since you could go straight to the party, and it is a classic, but you're not going there for the food. We really love Cape May.

I should have been a little more clear.
We arrive on a mon (Nov 27)
Tuesday we are doing MVMCP, and I would like to do a character meal before hand.
We are doing other character meals (garden grill, tusker house, crystal palace).
This is really the only day we have an open morning, and our departure day we are doing the bon voyage breakfast (totally depending on flight time, but i do have a 7:40 res :))
I'm honestly stuck, I think there are pros and cons to both, but I'm sorta leaning toward Cape May, just because i think the food would be so much better.
Its hard because these reservations are so hard to get, so deciding between them is really a job!

The food is better at Cape May. CM is vastly overpriced IMHO given the food is so bad. Since you will see the characters at so many other meals, I would save your money and have the better food at Cape May.

We are on the dining plan, free dining promotion, so $$ doesn't matter.
However, I have heard the food is so much better at cape may :)

I would eat breakfast at CM, then rest a bit/pool at BW before heading to MK for the party

My family and I loved the brunch back in April. We mostly ate mickey waffles and other breakfast items. We tried some of the other lunch items and enjoyed them as well but stuck with the breakfast items.

Well that was clear as mud! lol

yes, Cape May. I do enjoy the characters in their swimsuits

plus I could overeat a tad and not have to walk far!

Cape may. Chef mickeys is way overrated and the food quality is not so good

I would go to Cape May. I like the idea of having a nice breakfast, spending some time at the pool, then heading over to the party later. I also just prefer the atmosphere of Cape May to Chef Mickey's.
