We just found out we will be staying at the Contemporary through the Shades of Green in 2 short weeks. Because we will be at the Contemporary we would like to try Chef Mickey's, but are having trouble deciding between breakfast and dinner.

What is everyone's favorite of the 2 meals here?

We dined at Chef Mickey's once about 3 years ago & had a bad experience. My friends, family, and others on this board love it so much that we think it must have been an off night when we were there. Please help us decide if we should try breakfast or dinner here. Thanks in advance! :D

We ate at Chef Mickey's for breakfast June of 2000. All of us (myself, DH DS DD ) enjoyed it so much, we plan on returning for the breakfast on our trip in Aug. You may want to consider trying ohana's at the poly. We plan on going there also. They have a breakfast with characters and from what I've read on the boards here the dinner is wonderful. Enjoy what ever you decide.:) :) :)

I have never been there for dinner but I can say that the bfast is awesome!!!! It's our second favorite (very close second) next to Crystal Palace.

The dinner buffet is excellant. We had an exhausting day at the parks and came back to the hotel tired and hungry. We didn't have PS and were still able to wait about 10 minutes and get a table. It was one of our most favorite meals. The most memorable item on the buffet was the mashed potatoes. I've never had better. The kids especially loved the table they had setup for the kids to fix their own cupcakes. The cupcakes were not iced. the kids got to dip them in icing and then dip them in sprinkles.

We're going to WDW in a few days. We called a month ago and couldn't get PS for dinner at Chef Mickey's on any of the 4 nights we'll be there. We're hoping someone will cancel and we'll be able to go anyway. Whether you choose breakfast or dinner, I'd go ahead and call and get PS reservations for your meal. Have a great time!
