no definitive answer because the price varies not only depending on the period (may is regular season though) but also depending on the day of the week

the price is "somewhere between" $31 and $35 + tip
if you need to come up with a budget, just consider it's $35

$35 for breakfast...wow.

Yes it's pretty pricey, but we took our son for his 3rd birthday and it was just amazing! The character interaction was second to none, they came round to the tables twice and Minnie visited us three times - I think because my DD was wearing a full on Minnie Mouse outfit!
The food was great too, we found there was something there that everyone liked, the server was good, she refilled our drinks regularly and we were really pleased we chose Chef Mickey.

If you are celebrating something special then I would certainly recommend it!

We did it once while on DDP, can't believe anyone pays OOP, what we paid in tip was about the total value to me but I struggle to eat before lunch time, ontop of that having characters in you face at 9am is not my idea of fun. I can cope with them in the evenings but not first thing in the morning:rotfl2:
OK if you have young kids, personally if I did want breakfast for less than half the money I would goto Cracker Barrel and have a full American breakfast with steak:goodvibes

It's great fun, definitely worth it. We did it in 2011 with our DS2 & DS7 and they both loved it. They want to do it again this year and who am I to argue.

Just been doing a load of ADR's this week for our trip this August and they both want to eat in the Castle. I've only done it once with my wife way back in the 90's so thought i'd price it up. $175 for breakfast in Cinderella castle for 2 adults and 2 children. £115 for breakfast!!!! errrrrmmmmmm.....

its all about creating memories so imo well worth it:) Isn't the Castle just the Disney Princess' though? Where as Chef Mickeys has the usual gang!

I have eaten breakfast twice and lunch twice in the castle. Definitely more about the memories than the food, but lunch better than breakfast IMHO. That said it was the highlight of my DDs trip when she was 5 and than again aged 6. At 8 she was still awed, by 10 I kind of wished we hadn't bothered......

We are doing Chef Mickeys this year. Price is extortionate but since it's the only "Disney" we are doing (not doing the parks), it's fine. We will be having some other breakfasts offsite and all of these combined will probably cost us less...
