Chef Mickey's Breakfast Chance?

Hi there!

My husband and I are going in June with my Mom, Dad and little brother. We're staying on site at Saratoga Springs and they are off site at the Sheraton Vistana.

We're doing some of our reservations together (like Tusker House on AK day and Steakhouse 71 on MK day) but she wants to do Chef Mickey's on our Epcot day. I wouldn't be able to join her but I'm the one that is going to be making all of our dining reservations (whether they're together or not). So it looks like I'd have to try to book for her on the exact day, which I'm worried it will be all booked up. Should I try to steer her to a different restaurant and not even try? I'm worried it's unrealistic to think we'll get it.

It might be hard to get. I’m onsite and wanted CM at 60+2 and couldn’t get it. That was for 7 people though. I ended up booking it on 60+8, our departure day. However, I am using a reservation finder and hopefully something becomes available for 60+2. People cancel and change plans a lot the closer it gets to their travel dates. Good luck!

You can book for her when your dining window opens you do not need to wait until 60 days prior to the Chef Mickey date. Is her profile in your MDE account or is she linked through Friends and Family? If so, when you make the reservation, your name will initially pop up as the lead guest, but you can then scroll through the names of everyone in your account and choose who will manage the reservation - just pick your mom.

I was able to get chef Mickey for 60+2 on my upcoming trip in May. It was for 3 people, but was available. I also saw one pop up a few days ago when looking for topolinos so people drop it too

I always book Chef Mickey's 1-2 days out - we eat there frequently and never book further out than that. It pops up a LOT, especially the night before.

That said, you can still book it for her when you book yours and make sure her name is on the reservation.

Thank you all for the help! I was way overthinking it. I thought I wouldn't be able to add her since she was staying off site and it was prior to her window. Sounds like this should be super easy
