Chef Mickey's birthday question

Okay, so I think DH really wants to go to Chef Mickey's on the night of his birthday. He's honestly thought about other more "grown up" choices such as Chefs de France, and Ohana (regardless we will be eating at Ohana once during the trip!) but I think he really wants to eat at CM! He even has it written down as dinner that night in our schedule. We don't have any kids yet, and I'm wondering if this is a good choice for an adult birthday? I mean I know it's WDW and we're allowed to be kids at heart, but I just want to make sure that this is a good idea before I make our ADR's this weekend.

I have seen adults have their birthdays there and they have big smiles on their faces just like their kids...It is a great choice if that is where he wants to eat

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday there last Nov. It was great. They brought him out a special birthday cupcake and a signed "placemat". I believe they go even further with it this year since it is all about celebrations. I know they made a big deal at Boma about my daughter's birthday in June.

Sounds like he is a kid at heart then this would be a perfect choice. Everyone young and old in our group loves chef Mickey's. Make sure to note on your reservation your celebrating a b-day. They put party confettii on our table and brought out a b-day cupcake with a place mat and Mickey kissed my Mom for her b-day. If your looking for something more adult romantic, the signature dinnings do personalized b-day menues and you could order a cake.. But for your kid at heart I vote Chef Mickey's
