Yes, the characters come around to the tables. They can do autographs and pictures if you want.

Just a little tip: Many of the gift shops sell autograph/photo albums @ $10.00. There's a side for the character's autograph and a side with a sleeve to hold a picture of the character. It's a great keepsake from the trip. My DS loves to look through it at the autographs and pictures.

Yes the characters at Chef Mickey's sign and pose for pictures. This is my DS9 favorite place to eat he loves the napkin waiving. We celebrated his birthday there last week and Mickey took the frosting from the cupcake and put some on his nose

CS meal includes entree or combo (like pizza and salad), dessert and drink

The buffet food is great and the characters sign whatever you want and spend a lot of time with each table, when we went they came by multiple times!

Regarding Chef Mickeys, in addition to doing both, they are very thorough and conscientious about makng sure that everyone interested in character interaction gets some love. Unless your party of little ones disintegrates early in the meal (I've been there!), it's a slam-dunk that you can get pics and autographs.

In addition to the autograph books being a cute keepsake, they are easy for the characters to handle, increasing the quality and accuracy of the autographs they will produce.

We are going on my birthday 12-3 and we can;t wait the kids talk about it all the time I thinkg it is one of the things they are looking forward to mist but we have never been

I'm so glad I found this thread! We (3 adults) have dinner ressies for Chef Mickey on our last night at WDW.

Our ressie is for 8:50 pm on Nov. 11th, I'm not crazy about eating that late (though I hope the food at that late time is still fresh) but it was either 8:50 PM or 9:10 PM so I went for the "earlier" time.

Glad to hear about the character interaction (we're really looking forward to that)! And I'm glad to read about the autograph book - I will definitely have to find one of them!
