Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace question

Both of these places are on our list of possibilities...

Would your recommend the Crystal Palace for breakfast or dinner, and which one do you prefer at Chef Mickey's (we've had breakfast there before- mainly want to go for the characters!)?

we did breakfast at CM and lunch / dinner at CP. we preferred CP.

We LOVE CP for breakfast. They have these little French toast puffs that are incredible! We had dinner there once and it was fine, but nothing to write home about.

We've only done dinner at CM, so I don't know what their breakfast is like. The dinner was good, nothing spectacular, but pretty decent.

we've done CP for breakfast twice and CM for dinner, both places were good, but we think CP is a little better. Do you prefer one set of characters over the other?

Another advantage to CP Bfast is that you can book your ADR for earlier than Park opening. This will allow you to get some great photos of Main St/Castle with no one but your party in them. The food is pretty much the same at both, so Character difference would really be a determining factor. It's also nice to do CP during your time in MK, rather than having to go to the Contemporary.

We love both Crystal Palace & Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

Hi, I had us booked for Park Fare but cancelled because we are already having lunch at Cinderella's Table....so I wanted Chef Mickey. Problem was they only had a 9:15 p.m. open. I went ahead and took it hoping for a earlier dinner cancellation to open up or even a breakfast. After a while I gave up because I got us into Cape May for a breakfast. DD wants to see Minnie, Donald and Goofy, so it is perfect for us. Mickey wasn't as big a deal for her, she just wants to have her pic taken with Minnie while she is wearing her own her Minnie Mouse outfit. I think a lot of people forget or overlook Cape May. I am really looking forward to it.

I liked Chef Mickey way better than CP. So did the kids. The noise in CP is insanely loud. The kids didnt like that. It made them feel stressed out. Chef Mickey was quieter and the food was better imho.

I love CP for breakfast. It's nice to get an ADR before park open so you can get some wonderful pictures walking up main street before it's packed. Also the breakfast lasagna is one of my favorites.
We generally enjoy CM for supper as we are all stuffed and tired and ready to go to bed after that meal.

From our experience, they will let you in at least 15 minutes before your ADR, which gives you plenty of time to take some photos & get to your meal. There will be a special line @ the entrance where you will be asked for your ADR confirmation # & will be allowed to pass through.
