We had our original ADR for 10:30AM and today I called to see if there was anything earlier and they had a 7AM only, I changed it to the earlier (earliest?) because it will be our first day at MK and thought this would be a great start of the day. The day before, travel day, will be the early flight (getting up at 4:30AM) check-in and DTD so I'm thinking it will work out as we probably will be in bed all worn out before 9PM, getting up early Sunday will be a breeze, even the kids will be ready to go see Mickey.

Has anyone had the 7AM ADR for breakfast at Chef Mickey's? Is it the first available even?

:rotfl2: I hung up after making this ressie and as soon as I put the phone down, I realized, we're staying OFF-SITE for the first time with no rental car.... and NO shuttle service will start this early from Bonnet Creek...DH said...oh well we'll have to get a taxi..

Great thing is...we'll be in Magic Kingdom at opening ;)

I believe the 7 am is the earliest one available. A little early for me but I know there are a lot of people that love the early breakfast. I know the 10:30 time would be a little late for me too. The perfect time for me is about 9 am. I know ADR's are so hard to get for Chef Mickey's if you don't book like 6 months in advance for a party larger than 3 or 4.

Enjoy your breakfast. It's probably my favorite place to have breakfast in all of Disney!

We have done CRT at 7:45 am. Chef Mickey’s we did 7:30.The only thing I thought was the characters are barley awake, and in full character swing.
That was our experience at CRT too with the princesses.
But I would keep it. You will be done eating and ready to go open the park.
Just make sure you get up early!:goodvibes

We went to a 7:10 and the place was jumping characters were fun, kids loved it. This was a walkup too, we thought we were going to eat in the Concourse Staekhouse but DH ran over and asked and they said sure we have an opening so us and the another family got in, then and I cancelled the ADR for the next day. Thank goodness I had my camera and the autograph books with me. We were in the CR so I guess I still would have benn ok.
