Chef Mickey or Hollywood dine and vine??

Having done both on a recent trip....Chef Mickey's gets my vote. Slightly more options on the buffet at CM and I enjoy the atmosphere way better too. We only did Hollywood and Vine for our kids to meet the Disney Jr. characters.

We love both. I understand some people's objections, but both are great for our family. That being said, I prefer H & V. I like their menu items better and love to see the characters in their seasonal outfits. It's really just preference, though. I think they are both good.

Our family enjoys both, with maybe a slight edge to CM for more variety and I don’t think you can beat meeting the fab 5 all in one place. What are your other plans that day? I like H&V, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to DHS just to eat there.

Chef mickeys for sure! We can’t go to Disney without going to chef mickeys and seeing the fab 5! If it’s xmas season, h&v has them all in their Xmas attire - so then I might chose that one...

We have a Chef Mickeys reservation on our upcoming trip... Have heard the food can be suspect at both locations so when doing the ADRs for a character breakfast, we decided the fab 5 would appeal to our kids the most.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food at Chef Mickey’s on our recent trip. Much better than it’s been in the past.

I would pick neither if it was solely based on food, but Chef Mickey’s no contest for location and atmosphere.

That's like asking me how I want to die. Neither choice is very appealing. LOL... Seriously, I couldn't care less for either place. But if what you put on the fork is not all that important to you then Chef Mickey because of the Fab 5 and it's location would be my choice. But with that said, I'm not a fan of buffets.

Lately, yeah. Chef Mickey's is a better choice than H&V. If you don't mind a different suggestion, Tusker House is probably the best character buffet on property.

I agree with MouseMom, Tusker House is an excellent character dining and buffet in general.
